About the AAPSM…….The American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM) is composed of 500 doctors who have dedicated a significant portion of their practice to the treatment of active patients. In general, our members have busier practices than the average podiatrist and attract patients who have a greater commitment to health and wellness.

The AAPSM is also proud of our relationship with the schools of podiatric medicine, having established AAPSM student chapters at the various schools. Our student membership now exceeds over 1000 active members.  In addition, over 200 of our members have attained Fellow status with the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. These Fellows are leaders in their communities in the field of sports medicine and commonly serve as team podiatrists for local high school, college and even professional athletic teams. Our Fellows are constantly in the media spotlight, giving interviews on all aspects of podiatric sports medicine.
