Attention American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine Members! Thanks to the generosity of our corporate sponsor, Brooks Sports, Inc. we are pleased to invite you to a pre-annual meeting spectacular in Seattle!
On Wednesday, July 14, 2010 Brooks Sports, Inc. will be hosting our 40th Anniversary celebration at their headquarters near Seattle, Washington. Please note that this is a member’s only event and is limited to the first 100 registrants and will require pre-registration. In addition to food and drink, members of the AAPSM will be treated to a first class tour of the Brooks facility. AAPSM members will receive a real look at what Brooks does from concept and research to design and testing. They will explain what goes into making a technical shoe and how they keep them consistent along with other things that eventually impact whether or not these types of shoes work for your patients. Brooks representatives will be on hand to answer questions and they look forward to hearing from our membership as to what they can do to help develop a better product for your patients.
In addition to the tour and reception, AAPSM members who pre register will receive a complimentary pair of Brooks running shoes along with a Brooks jacket – as a memento of our Academy’s 40th anniversary. Transportation to and from the Brooks facility will be provided. Busses will be available and registrants will meet in the lobby of the Seattle Sheraton at 5 pm on Wednesday, July 14 and return to the Sheraton at approximately 9 pm.
